Its look like the quote has different meanings.Only Abraham Lincoln know exactly what is the real meaning.This is my opinion.Most people lying for some reasons and some of them without any reason, as a habit. but no one can do it perfectly.Because they cant remember what they told yesterday.Then they trying to show they have forgotten it.Most people using these common words to avoid the truth. I dont know,I dont understand,I dont remember,I cant remember, did I say? , maybe, now enough this,just stop,im confused. They act like they did nothing. In my experience I can say that really it happens.
